In the divine town of Vrindavan, where every street echoes the pastimes of Radha and Krishna, the Priyakant Ju Temple shines as a modern architectural marvel deeply rooted in ancient devotion. Unlike most temples that are centuries old, this relatively new temple has quickly become a prominent landmark, attracting pilgrims, tourists, and spiritual seekers alike.
The Priyakant Ju Mandir is a stunning and unique temple dedicated to Radha-Krishna, where “Priyakant” refers to Krishna, and “Priya” refers to Radha Rani. It represents the divine couple who are the heart of Vrindavan’s spiritual culture. Built under the vision of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, this temple reflects the beautiful union of artistic grandeur and deep bhakti (devotion).
What sets the Priyakant Ju Temple apart is its lotus-shaped design, which makes it truly one-of-a-kind. The temple stands tall at about 125 feet, designed to resemble a giant blooming lotus, signifying purity and divine love.
The temple is adorned with:
Beautiful carvings of Krishna Leelas (divine pastimes)
Intricate marble work and sculptures
Impressive staircases, gardens, and fountains
Breathtaking murti (idols) of Radha and Krishna as Priya and Kant Ju, beautifully dressed and decorated
Every corner of the temple whispers stories from Krishna's divine pastimes, making it a living pilgrimage site for spiritual reflection.
Though it is a modern temple, Priyakant Ju Temple exudes ancient spiritual charm. It is not only a place for darshan but also for experiencing tranquility, devotion, and inner peace. Devotees often sit on the temple premises to chant, meditate, and absorb the holy vibrations of Vrindavan.
Daily aartis, kirtans, and devotional events bring the temple to life. Special emphasis is given to Radha Krishna's leelas and prema bhakti (pure devotional love), making this temple a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.
The temple was conceptualized and established under the divine guidance of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, one of the foremost spiritual leaders of the 20th century. He was known for spreading the philosophy of divine love (Prem Bhakti) and establishing temples that inspire devotion through beauty and service.
The temple is maintained by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat (JKP), which also undertakes various charitable and spiritual activities across India.
Like all temples in Vrindavan, Priyakant Ju Temple celebrates major festivals with grandeur, including:
Janmashtami (birth of Lord Krishna)
Radhashtami (birth of Radha Rani)
Holi – celebrated with colors, flowers, and music
Diwali, Govardhan Puja, and Kartik Purnima
During these festivals, the temple is decorated with lights, flowers, rangolis, and the energy of bhakti is felt in every inch of the campus.
Priyakant Ju Temple is located on Chhatikara Road, just a few kilometers from the heart of Vrindavan. It is easily accessible by road from Mathura Railway Station (approx. 10 km) and Vrindavan bus stops.
Local autos, e-rickshaws, and taxis frequently travel this route, making it convenient for all pilgrims.

To feel the tranquil, devotional atmosphere in a clean and well-maintained environment
To connect with the message of divine love as taught by Jagadguru Kripalu Ji
To take part in uplifting kirtans, bhajans, and spiritual discourses
